FPD Processing Equipment
DRYING PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
1. Drum Dryer | |
Drum dryer is a rotating cylinder that uses steam or hot air to heat pureed materials during the manufacturing process. The configuration may include one or more drums. A drum dryer can work under either atmospheric or vacuum pressure. Drum dryers are commonly used in the food industry due to their high efficiency in drying pastes and gelatinous materials. |
|
2. Spray Dryer | |
Purchased Spray Dryer FPD Fabricated Spray Dryer |
Spray dryer is composed of the following components: a feed pump, an atomizer, an air heater, an air dispenser, a drying chamber, and systems for exhaust air cleaning and powder recovery/separator. The drying material is sprayed as a fine mist into a hot air chamber and falls to the bottom as dry powder. Because the heating period is so brief, nutritional and functional damage is avoided. Dried powder is made up of hollow, low-density particles that are widely used in many foods (such as milk) and pharmaceuticals.
|
3. Pin Mill | |
Pin mill is a mill that comminutes materials by moving pins past each other repeatedly. It breaks up substances through repeated impact, much like a kitchen blender. The mill is a vertical shaft impactor mill with two rotating discs and pins embedded on one face. |
|
4. Vacuum Fryer | |
Vacuum fryer is a machine that uses low temperatures to cook vegetables, fruit, fish, and meat. The equipment can reduce the oil content of the food to well below 15% in some cases. It can also help to prevent nutrient loss that occurs when food is cooked or fried at high temperatures. The vacuum fryer also preserves the color, consistency, and flavor of the food. Food fried using this method can be stored for a longer period of time than other types of fried food. |
|
JUICE PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
1. Steam Jacketed Kettle (200L cap.)
Steam-jacketed kettle, similar to a double boiler, uses steam heat to cook large amounts of food. It has an inner and outer steel wall that cooks the contents by releasing steam into the space between the walls. Because it has a more uniform cooking surface, it may cook more evenly than a traditional pot. Steam-jacketed kettles are popular for institutional use because they require less stirring, can cook longer, and are less likely to burn food. |
|
2. Hydraulic Press | |
Hydraulic press is a machine press that produces compressive force via a hydraulic cylinder. In the fruit extraction and food processing processes, hydraulic presses are used to achieve high yields. |
|
3. Colloid Mill | |
Colloid mill is a type of rotor-stator mixer that is commonly used in the production of emulsions and dispersions. It can also be used to reduce the particle size of suspended solids. A high-speed rotor inside the colloid mill pushes the fluid through small holes in a stationary stator, creating extremely high levels of mechanical shear. The sizes of these holes or gaps are adjustable, allowing the user to control the amount of shear. The smaller the resulting particle size, the greater the shear. |
|
4. Homogenizer | |
Homogenizer is a type of mixing equipment used to create a consistent and uniform mixture. It works by breaking down the components and distributing them evenly throughout the solution. The components are either immiscible, have different sizes, or are in different phases. A homogenizer, like other mixing equipment, performs additional functions in addition to creating a homogeneous mixture. Emulsifying, suspending, grinding, dispersing, and dissolving are some of these functions. |
|
THERMAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT
1. Water Retort (Fabricated)
Water Retort is one of the food processing equipment that has been designed and manufactured to replace imported equipment. Its use can help improve the performance and productivity of the country's food processing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). |
