The Food Processing Division (FPD) is one of the Research and Development (R&D) divisions of the Industrial Technology Development Institute. FPD conducts R&D in the effective utilization of indigenous food resources and upgrading the quality of local food products and productivity of the food industry. It also provides technical services such as consultancy, engineering and information dissemination to local SME’s, entrepreneurs and the general public. It also undertakes collaborative projects with other government agencies, LGUs, NGOs, professional organizations and private corporations.
